The Crane Summit 21st Century International Forum is an interactive platform where international poets make friends through poems. Upholding goals like elegance, solemness, fraternity and peace, this year the 30th World Poets Congress is held in Taipei. Hundreds of poets coming from all over the world gathered and joined the great event. What's more special, the former president of India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was first-time invited to Taiwan by his good friend; the president of the forum Dr. Yu Hsi, as a token expressing universal value of poetry. Poets from country to country under the same roof, passed on real sentiments of the humankind that are both intercultural and borderless through the interchanges of ballads.
